Sinelnik, who served as the commander of the second platoon of the first company of the second battalion of the DPS traffic police regiment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Novosibirsk, is accused of accepting 50,000 rubles from a Porsche Cayenne driver in February. The bribe was allegedly given to avoid the creation of an administrative protocol for driving without a license. An amount of 40,000 rubles was also mentioned during the investigation.
The Internal Security Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Novosibirsk Region uncovered the alleged illegal activity through operational search measures. The collected materials have been sent to the investigative authorities.
