Residents of a Novosibirsk building are complaining about excessive garbage accumulation at a local container site. The overflowing waste is allegedly due to nearby vegetable vendors dumping their refuse at the location.
The residents of the building located at 179/1 Dusi Kovalchuk Street reported the issue through the Telegram channel “Novosibirsk Public.” They claim the uncontained garbage is attracting rodents and homeless individuals, creating unsanitary conditions.
The residents have requested that the management company erect a fence around the container site to mitigate the problem. However, their requests have reportedly been ignored.
Local news outlets have reached out to MUP SAH, the Novosibirsk Mayor’s Office, and Sibiryak Management Company LLC for comment. Responses are pending and will be published as they are received.
This incident follows a previous report of a man setting fire to garbage bins in the courtyard of another Novosibirsk building, raising concerns about public safety.
