Police in Novosibirsk are investigating a reported incident involving a weapon on Trolleynaya Street. The investigation was launched after a video surfaced on the Telegram channel “AST-54 Black,” showing a young man allegedly threatening another with what appeared to be a pistol.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that no formal reports regarding the incident have been filed. However, law enforcement officers have registered the media publication and are actively investigating the circumstances.

According to the Telegram post, the incident involved a group of underage teenagers, supervised by an adult man, who allegedly threatened a young man with a pistol at the intersection of Trolleynaya and Svyazistov Streets. The video footage shows the young man firing a shot into the ground, although no sound of a gunshot was heard.

This incident follows a recent case in Novosibirsk where police detained suspects in a separate incident involving grievous bodily harm. In that case, four city residents, aged 31 to 37, allegedly shot a 27-year-old man. The motive for that conflict remains unknown.
