Weather forecasters predict heavy rains, strong downpours, thunderstorms, and large hail in parts of the Novosibirsk Region on Sunday, July 13. Wind gusts during thunderstorms could reach 17-22 meters per second.

Wearing a life jacket is strongly advised at all times when on the water. The Ministry of Emergency Situations highlights the dangers of thunderstorms, reminding individuals that water is an excellent conductor of electricity and that staying away from bodies of water during such events is crucial.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a recent incident on July 9, where a man drowned while fishing on the Ob River near the Kazennaya Zaimka village of Barnaul, Altai Territory. His body was recovered a short distance from the shore.
