Novosibirsk is gearing up for a vibrant Russia Day celebration on June 12th, with the Mikhailovskaya Embankment serving as the central hub for festivities. A wide array of events, concerts, performances, and entertainment activities are planned throughout the city.
The celebrations, mostly free of charge, will occur in various parks and squares across the city, inviting residents to engage in rollerblading, workshops, and exhibitions.
The main events will kick off at 12:00 PM at Mikhailovskaya Embankment. The Novosibirsk Academic Symphony Orchestra and the Novosibirsk Choral Chapel, led by conductor Rustam Dilmukhametov, will perform a special program. Interactive platforms, workshops, and various activities will cater to both children and adults.
In a separate area of the embankment, the “Challenge” multi-sport festival will showcase demonstrations and presentations from children’s sports schools and sections, alongside performances by sports clubs. The “Brave Games of the Peoples of Russia” festival will also take place, featuring folk and traditional games in front of the stage.
