Novosibirsk has commenced inspections to ensure the readiness of its heating networks for the upcoming heating season. This announcement was made during a meeting with the mayor of Novosibirsk on June 3.
Authorities are prioritizing the acquisition of a ‘Readiness Passport’ this year, a document that was not required last season. Maxim Kudryavtsev stressed the importance of obtaining this passport before the heating season begins.
Inspections, conducted in collaboration with Rostekhnadzor and the prosecutor’s office, have already started. This is earlier than previous years, where inspections typically began in September. The decision to start in June aims to expedite the process.
Dmitry Zaikov, head of the housing and communal services department, stated that the goal is to obtain the passport by November 15, while the heating period is scheduled to begin on September 10. He acknowledged the challenge of obtaining the passport before the start of the season but affirmed the commitment to meeting the November 15 deadline.
The mayor emphasized the importance of striving to meet the shorter deadlines. Currently, hydraulic tests are being conducted throughout Novosibirsk.
