Novosibirsk has announced a competition to develop a new metro development scheme, with a maximum contract price of 50 million rubles. The competition, announced on May 30th via the mayor’s office Telegram channel, seeks to update the city’s metro development plan.
The selected contractor will be responsible for developing a project that outlines two construction phases: one extending to 2030 and another to 2055.
The project requires the contractor to prepare a comprehensive metro scheme, detailing the routes of new lines, the locations of stations and transport hubs, and the placement of entrance groups, electric depots, tunnels, and overpasses. The contractor must also provide justification for the construction timeline and associated costs.
The deadline for submitting applications is June 16th, and the work must be completed within 250 days of the contract signing. The selected contractor will adjust the general scheme for the development of the metro.
