Construction of several overpasses and exits to the North-Eastern Chord (SVKh) is planned near the Vostochny Railway Station, along with reconstruction of adjacent streets, at an estimated cost of 17 billion rubles. The project details were revealed through a tender on the public procurement website.
The project includes the construction of Driveway No. 1913 from Irtyshsky passage to the SVKh, and three overpasses on the SVKh itself. These overpasses will facilitate connections with Driveway No. 1913 and provide access to the MCC station. Future plans also involve constructing overpasses from Shchelkovskoye Highway.
The technical specifications outline the construction of three overpasses: a 280-meter right-turn exit from Projected Passage No. 1913 to the SVKh heading north, a 150-meter exit from the same location heading south, and a left-turn exit from the SVKh to Vostochny Railway Station and MCC Lokomotiv.
Reconstruction will occur on streets near the North-Eastern Chord, including Amurskaya (from the SVKh to Montazhnaya), Tagilskaya (from Amurskaya to passage No. 1913), and sections of Biryusinka and Baikal streets. All these streets will have two lanes in each direction. Additionally, a 650-meter side passage away from the SVKh will be built on Amurskaya Street. The 1st and 2nd Irtyshsky passages will also be reconstructed. Roads will also be built to access Vostochny Railway Station, Cherkizovskaya metro stations and MCC Lokomotiv station, totaling 1.3 kilometers.
In addition to roadwork, the project encompasses the construction of a terminal station building for buses near the train station and MCC station, transformer substations, and the rebuilding of engineering communications, communication networks, and water and gas pipelines.
The construction timeline is estimated at 1145 days, just over three years.
Planning projects dating back to 2023 outline connections between the SVKh and Kurganskaya Street, which will involve connecting two parts of Tagilskaya Street and extending Chernitsynsky passage to Uralskaya Street. This extension will establish a direct route from the North-Eastern Chord to near the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD).
The design diagrams also depict two substantial interchanges connecting the North-Eastern Chord to Shchelkovskoye Highway. One branch will lead to the center, passing over the railway and connecting to the exit from Bolshaya Cherkizovskaya. The other branch, directed towards the region, will cross the SVKh, reach Amursky lane, then cross Shchelkovskoye Highway near Sirenevy Park. The address-investment program allocates up to 21 billion rubles for the work, including compensation to building owners and engineering networks.
