A new exit from Chernogolovka near the Moscow Small Ring Road will be constructed, along with the reconstruction of the intersection of Shchelkovskoye Highway and the A-107 highway (Moscow Small Ring Road). Approximately 1.7 billion rubles have been allocated for the design and construction of the project.
The project entails the construction of three road sections. The first section will span 1420 meters with four lanes, the second will be 250 meters with two lanes, and the third will be 600 meters with four lanes, potentially involving the reconstruction of a part of the A-107 highway at the intersection with Shchelkovskoye Highway.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region, the new road will stretch from the intersection of Shchelkovskoye Highway and A-107 to the junction with Polevaya Street in the Khimik horticultural association area. The location of the road will pass through a forest along local garden plots. In addition, a parking lot covering 30,000 square meters will be built.
Plans include equipping a truck parking site and constructing an exit to Zheleznodorozhny passage in the area where Shchelkovskoye Highway meets the A-107. The final parameters will be determined during the design process.
The Ministry anticipates awarding the design and construction contract in August, completing the road design by the fourth quarter of 2026, and finishing construction by the fourth quarter of 2028.
While the tender was initially posted in late June with applications due in mid-July, the determination of the contractor has been temporarily suspended. The documents indicate that this project is the first phase of constructing a road from Shchelkovskoye Highway through Chernogolovka to the Moscow Big Ring Road.
The Ministry of Transport of the Moscow Region stated that the project will enhance transport accessibility to Chernogolovka and improve road safety at the intersection of A-107 and Shchelkovskoye Highway.
