The Leningrad Zoo has announced the successful birth of several new animals, including goat kids and capybara pups. This marks a period of replenishment and joy for the zoo’s animal family.
In late April, the Kamori goat Cleopatra gave birth to twins, adding to the zoo’s goat population.
Around the same time, three Cameroonian goats, Lira, Liana, and Laguna, each welcomed two kids, further increasing the number of goat newborns.
These new residents can be observed in the enclosure adjacent to the “Children’s Zoo” area, where they are regularly taken for walks.
Visitors are currently welcome to view the goat kids, but direct interaction is not yet permitted.
In addition to the goat births, two capybara pups, a female and a male, were born to parents Caisa and Ermak earlier this year.
These capybara siblings exhibit distinct personalities and dietary preferences.
