Alexander Shikolai, the vocalist for the internationally renowned deathcore band Slaughter to Prevail, has been detained in the Moscow region. The detention occurred while the band was filming a music video.

Police officers arrived at the filming location and detained several individuals, including Shikolai.

Fans present at the filming as extras were also detained. They were reportedly held for approximately six hours while their documents were checked before being released.

The reason for Shikolai’s detention remains unclear.

Slaughter to Prevail is known for performing at major festivals in Europe and America.
