A motorcyclist is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Yekaterinburg on August 1st. Nadezhda Gugumberidze was seriously injured when she was hit by a yellow Isuzu truck near the “Europe-Asia” stele at the entrance to the city.

The collision resulted in severe injuries to Gugumberidze’s leg, requiring immediate hospitalization and surgery. She is currently undergoing treatment at Yekaterinburg’s Hospital No. 36, where doctors are working to stabilize her condition. There are serious concerns about her survival following the operation.

According to friends, Gugumberidze is in critical condition. The Yekaterinburg resident is an experienced motorcyclist, and her friends are deeply worried about her, especially as she has a disabled son who depends on her. The city’s motorcycle community has rallied to support her during this difficult time.

The Isuzu truck sustained significant damage in the accident, but the driver, identified as Alexey Grom, was reportedly unharmed. Friends of the victim allege that Grom may be intentionally targeting motorcyclists, pointing to a previous incident two weeks prior where he was involved in a minor accident with another motorcyclist.
