A 43-year-old motorcyclist died on Tuesday evening after a Lada Largus failed to yield at an uncontrolled intersection on the Kamyshlov-Irbit-Turinsk-Tavda highway. The collision occurred at the 167th kilometer of the road.

The driver of the Lada Largus, a 54-year-old resident of Turinsk, was entering the main road from a secondary road when he did not yield to the “Irbis” motorcycle, which had the right-of-way. The resulting impact led to fatal injuries for the motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist, also a resident of Turinsk, succumbed to his injuries at the scene before emergency medical services could arrive. He had purchased the motorcycle just four days prior to the accident and was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The driver of the Lada Largus told traffic officers that he noticed the approaching motorcycle only when he entered the intersection. He stated that he attempted to accelerate to avoid obstructing the motorcycle, but was unable to prevent the collision.
