Moscow’s Belorusskaya Metro Station to Undergo Extensive Repairs

The Belorusskaya metro station in Moscow is slated to receive 1 billion rubles for extensive repairs, according to an official announcement. The repairs at the Belorusskaya station on the Circle Line have already commenced, focusing initially on the restoration of the station’s pylons.

Work has begun swiftly, marked by the erection of metal fencing around the work area near the transfer point to the Zamoskvoretskaya line. A notice posted on the fence indicates that the repair work is scheduled for completion by December 28, 2025.

In addition to the pylon restoration, a tender has been issued by the Moscow Metro for a project encompassing further restoration work at the Belorusskaya station. The initial contract price for this project is 1 billion rubles, although the specific details of the repairs covered by this tender remain undisclosed.

Furthermore, plans are in place to repair track walls at six stations across the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya and Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya lines in the near future. Moscow authorities have also announced preparations for a project to extend the red metro line northeast from “Bulvar Rokossovskogo,” with the construction of two new stations: “MGSU” and “Yaroslavskaya.”
