Moscow is set to host a grand celebration for Russia Day this weekend, offering a diverse range of events that highlight the nation’s history and culture. From festivals and open-air circus performances to themed excursions, numerous venues across the city will be alive with activity on June 12.

Free circus performances will be held in Izmailovsky Park and the Moskino film park, featuring dynamic shows with animals and acrobats. Additionally, the “Theater Boulevard” festival continues with free performances at various locations, including Chistoprudny and Pokrovsky Boulevards.

VDNKh will host a jazz festival with performances on the main stage, alongside thematic programs in its pavilions, including excursions and lectures on Russian history. The VDNKh City Farm will also host a festive program called “Days of Russia with Novosibirsk Farmers” from June 12-15, featuring farm products, master classes, and activities.

The Moskino Film Park will transform into a historical site from June 12-15, with reconstructions of battles, archery, and historical games as part of the “Times and Epochs” festival. The Museum of Moscow will offer a special film program, including a screening of “Impostors” followed by a discussion with the film crew and historians.
