Several free festivals are taking place, including the “Art Boulevard” festival, which transforms Gogolevsky Boulevard into an open creative space until September 14. Visitors can participate in painting, attend lectures, and enjoy performances. The “Russian Field” festival in Victory Park on August 9 will feature over 1,500 participants from Russia and abroad, showcasing historical reenactments, folk crafts, and musical performances. The Festival of Historical Gardens in Tsaritsyno from August 22-31 will explore the theme of “Gardens and Science” with landscape compositions, master classes, and musical concerts.
For those interested in culture, the Zotov Center is hosting the exhibition “Red Moscow. Woman in the Big City” throughout August. This exhibition focuses on the perfume industry in Russia during the 1920s–1930s, featuring scents inspired by Soviet perfumes and the urban environment of that era. Tickets are available for 500 rubles.
Music lovers have several options to choose from. The Signal Festival, an electronic music festival, will take place in Nikola-Lenivets Park from August 14-18, featuring a lineup of techno, ambient, and experimental artists. Tickets are priced at 13,400 rubles. The Hermitage Garden will host Velvet Fest on August 16 and 17, with live music, dancing, and performances by artists from the Velvet Music label. Tickets cost 3500 rubles for one day and 6000 rubles for both days. Chtivo Fest, a new project by Sergey Minaev, will be held at Khlebzavod on August 30, featuring musical performances, interviews, and stand-up comedy. Tickets are available for 6500 rubles.
Moscow Fashion Week will take place in Zaryadye Park from August 28 to September 2. This event will showcase collections from both established and emerging designers, offering industry professionals the opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss trends. Admission is by prior registration.
