Moscow “Stolichki” Pharmacies Experience Shutdown Due to System Failure

The Stolichki and Neofarm pharmacy networks are currently experiencing operational failures, leading to the closure of some locations and the unavailability of online orders in Moscow. Websites for both pharmacy brands display identical messages citing unspecified “technical reasons” for the disruption.

Customers are unable to book orders or access loyalty program information, according to the message posted on the pharmacy websites. The sites state that affected functionalities will be restored shortly and apologize for the inconvenience.

An MSK1 correspondent confirmed that at least some pharmacies are closed. Users also report that online ordering is unavailable, with the application displaying a “Loading” message. One user noted that the application has been malfunctioning for approximately an hour.

While the Mash Telegram channel alleges a hacking incident targeting the Stolichki network, there is no official confirmation. Stolichki networks representatives declined to provide explanations by phone and online when contacted for comment.

This incident follows recent cyberattacks on other companies. On July 28th, Aeroflot airlines experienced a network hack, causing disruptions at Moscow airports. Fifty flights to and from Moscow were canceled on July 29th, although the airline claimed the situation had stabilized. Additionally, the Vinlab liquor store chain was targeted by hackers in mid-July, resulting in store closures.
