Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo forest park has been named the favorite among Moscow residents, receiving 452 votes in a recent poll. The poll, conducted by MSK1.RU, asked Muscovites to name their preferred natural escape within the city.

Losiny Ostrov (Elk Island) secured the second position with 324 votes, while Izmailovsky forest park claimed third place with 296 votes.

The poll reflects a desire among Muscovites to find respite from the urban environment in natural forest settings. Concerns are being raised, however, about the potential loss of these green spaces due to development.

According to data analysis, Izmailovsky Park leads in terms of visitor numbers, followed by Timiryazevsky Park and Severnoe Tushino Park. Berezovaya Roshcha Park and the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve also rank among the top five most visited parks.

The poll included a selection of frequently mentioned parks, with the organizers acknowledging that not all options could be included.
