Moscow residents have been warned to avoid parking their cars near trees due to an approaching spell of adverse weather conditions. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued an alert, forecasting short-term rains, showers, and thunderstorms until the morning of August 2nd.

Wind speeds are expected to reach up to 15 meters per second in certain areas, heightening the risk of falling branches.

Motorists are urged to reduce their speed and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. The advisory also includes avoiding sudden lane changes and overtaking maneuvers.

Pedestrians are advised to steer clear of advertising signs and unstable structures, and to refrain from seeking shelter under trees during the storm.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasizes the importance of not leaving children unsupervised during the inclement weather.
