Moscow Resident Disappears in Tula Region After Birthday Celebration

A Moscow resident, Sergey Alekseenko, has been missing for almost three weeks after disappearing while celebrating a friend’s birthday at the “Blue Water” recreation area in Donskoy, Tula region. Alekseenko, who turned 24 just days before his disappearance, was last seen in the water and has not been found despite extensive search efforts.

The incident occurred on July 10th when Alekseenko was at the reservoir with a large group. According to his sister, Nadezhda, Alekseenko was last seen swimming on a SUP board with a friend when they both fell into the water, but only the friend resurfaced. Divers searched the area for six days but have yet to find Alekseenko’s body.

Alekseenko had moved to Moscow from Kyrgyzstan four years ago to work and lived with his brother. He worked in a warehouse and enjoyed spending time with family and playing sports. His sister emphasized that he was a capable swimmer and did not have a history of alcohol abuse, dispelling rumors that he was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

The family has expressed frustration with the police investigation, claiming that their initial attempts to file a report were met with delays and that the individuals present at the recreation area have not been questioned. Despite the lack of progress, Alekseenko’s family continues to search for him and remains hopeful.
