Moscow Region Route 41 to Offer Social Card Benefits

Changes are coming to Route 41 from the Moscow region to Moscow, allowing travel using the Moscow Region social card. The Minister of Transport of the Moscow Region has signed a decree to implement these changes. The exact date when these benefits will become available has not yet been announced.

The update to the route register includes adding 41 routes that mirror existing ones. In most cases, the letter “k” will be removed from the end of the route number, while some routes will have their numbers adjusted. These routes will now operate under regulated tariffs, making benefits like free travel with the social card accessible to passengers.

In the Moscow region, social routes operate under regulated tariffs where the regional government sets the fare, subsidizes the carrier, and provides passenger benefits. Commercial routes, identified by the letter “k” and red numbers, operate under unregulated tariffs, offer no benefits, and have fares set by the carrier.

The affected routes connect metro stations and Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) to various cities and towns in the Moscow region, including Balashikha, Lyubertsy, Reutov, Domodedovo, and Korolev. While mainly served by minibuses, some routes utilize medium and large-capacity buses. Additional changes have also been made to some routes operating solely within the Moscow region.

Route 1230k will no longer serve Sadovod Market from June 1, according to Mostransavto’s General Director, Andrey Mayorov. This change will allow for more frequent trips on the shortened route from Barykina Street to MCD Lyubertsy. Free buses are available from the MCD station to reach the shopping complex.
