Moscow’s public transportation system will soon broadcast videos informing passengers about drone attacks. These announcements will classify drone raids as emergency situations, ensuring riders are aware of potential threats.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations was presented with one of these informational videos inside an electric bus. This initiative follows increased drone activity targeting the Russian capital, especially around the May 9th holiday.
Currently, there is no confirmed date for when these broadcasts will commence on Moscow’s public transport. It is also unclear if this practice will extend to other cities within Russia.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported shooting down one UAV over the Moscow region earlier today.
