Moscow’s city-wide graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place on the night of June 27th to 28th at VDNKh. The event, expected to draw over 45,000 attendees including graduates, parents, and teachers, will feature a wide array of entertainment and activities.
Deputy Mayor Anastasia Rakova stated that the celebration will transform VDNKh into a universe of shows, games, and interactive experiences. Graduates can explore music and art, tour VDNKh pavilions, participate in dance competitions and cycle training, among other activities. The goal is to create a personalized and memorable experience for every graduate.
The theme of this year’s graduation is “Generation Code,” with each venue focusing on values such as self-expression, technology, creativity, and career choices. VDNKh will host more than 15 zones dedicated to these themes.
A highlight of the event will be the red carpet arrival for graduates. The main music stage, accommodating 9,000 spectators, will feature performances by artists including SHAMAN, DABRO, The Hatters, Amirchik, GAYAZOV$ BROTHER$, Yulia Gavrilina, MONA, and Tatyana Kurtukova.
Other entertainment includes live karaoke with artists performing covers of popular hits and opportunities for music enthusiasts to create mini-tracks based on the “Moscow Graduation” jingle. An immersive quest show will allow participants to explore the characteristics of their generation, encountering characters related to personal experiences and modern culture.
Museums on the territory of VDNKh will be open to graduates free of charge until 03:00. The entertainment program will conclude at 04:00, followed by discos on the main and dance stages until 06:00.
