Moscow commemorated the 307th anniversary of the police service in Russia with “One Day with the Police,” an event held in Victory Park. The celebration featured historical police vehicles, dog handling demonstrations, and a simulated hostage rescue.

The event offered a glimpse into the work of law enforcement, with interactive displays and demonstrations. Visitors had the opportunity to sit in police vehicles, interact with police dogs, and speak with officers about their duties.

Displays included tents staffed by police officers explaining their roles, as well as opportunities to view an armored personnel carrier, handle weapons, and ride scooters and bicycles. A previous report highlighted the work of the mounted police in Moscow.
