A criminal case has been opened following a brazen robbery involving a pneumatic pistol in St. Petersburg. The incident occurred on May 20th at the parking lot of a shopping complex located at 49 Leninsky Avenue.

Two minors are suspected of attacking a 17-year-old student, shooting him in the leg, and stealing his electronic vaporizer. The victim sought medical attention independently at a trauma center, where he was treated for a bruised wound to his left shin.

Following the incident, law enforcement apprehended two suspects. The suspects are a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old, both students at a local school.

During the arrest, authorities seized an MP-654 pneumatic pistol. The 14-year-old was released as a witness after questioning, while the 16-year-old remains in custody. The stolen vape was valued at 1,500 rubles. The Investigative Committee initiated the criminal case on May 30th, classifying the crime as group robbery with the use of weapons.
