The advisory follows a “yellow” level weather warning already in effect for St. Petersburg on Friday, due to anticipated rain, wind, and thunderstorms. An atmospheric front carrying precipitation is moving into the area from the west, having already impacted regions such as Sosnovy Bor, Lebyazhye, and Zelenogorsk.

Over the weekend, St. Petersburg’s atmosphere will be characterized by a succession of atmospheric fronts and small baric ridges. Residents are advised to stay informed about weather updates.
