Mikhail Boyarsky Returns to Stage After Injury

People’s Artist of Russia, Mikhail Boyarsky, is set to return to the stage following a recovery from an injury sustained in April. The Lensovet Theater made the announcement on June 3rd via their official Telegram channel.

Boyarsky will resume his role as Herman Lewis in the play “Mixed Feelings,” directed by Oleg Levakov, which originally premiered in 2009. His return marks the end of a hiatus that began after he was hospitalized in mid-April due to a broken rib sustained in a fall after a performance.

The Lensovet Theater had previously announced the suspension of performances of the play featuring Mikhail Boyarsky until the end of the season in early May. The theater initially planned to replace the production “In This Sweet Old House” with other performances, including on June 3rd.

According to the theater’s official website, “In This Sweet Old House” is scheduled for its previously planned dates. Alongside Mikhail Boyarsky, Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Sulimov is also listed as playing the role of Erast Petrovich.
