The prompt and coordinated actions of medical personnel on a flight from Sochi to Ivanovo are being credited with saving the lives of four passengers who fell ill mid-flight. The incident occurred as the aircraft gained altitude, prompting an emergency response from doctors who happened to be on board.
The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation reported the event, stating that four passengers simultaneously required medical assistance. A therapist from Vladimir and a cardiologist from Ivanovo were among the passengers who provided immediate care.
One passenger lost consciousness, while another experienced a sharp increase in blood pressure following a previous heart attack. Two additional female passengers reported symptoms indicative of a stroke and general malaise.
The doctors on board quickly assessed the situation and began administering treatment, including injections and medication. Under their supervision, the condition of all four patients stabilized before the plane landed safely in Ivanovo.
