A mass traffic accident in the Moshkovsky district of the Novosibirsk region has resulted in injuries to five people. The incident occurred on the R-255 “Siberia” highway at the 76th kilometer on May 30th.
Preliminary reports indicate that a bus driver veered into the oncoming lane, leading to a collision with a truck. The initial impact then caused a chain reaction, involving two additional cars.
Traffic police have established reversible traffic flow to manage the congestion resulting from the accident. Authorities have clarified that the bus involved was not a public transport vehicle.
Eyewitness accounts confirm the significant traffic disruption, with reports of substantial congestion in both directions on the R-255 highway near the “Stantsionno-Oyashinsky” working settlement. The accident is currently under investigation.
