A mass shouting event took place on the Troitsky Bridge in St. Petersburg early Saturday morning, drawing a large crowd of residents and visitors. The gathering, which began at 7:00 AM, was initiated by blogger Artem Khadunkin, who coordinated the event with city authorities and police.
The purpose of the mass shouting was to overcome fear, release negative emotions, and experience a sense of collective enjoyment. Khadunkin’s initial solo shouting videos on the bridge gained popularity on social media, inspiring others to join him.
Attendees, primarily young people in their 20s and 30s, participated in the event. A Fontanka correspondent observed the crowd as they gathered on the bridge to shout.
Following the shouting, the participants proceeded to a coffee shop on Malaya Posadskaya Street, where they enjoyed music and singing. A long line formed outside the coffee shop, prompting a visit from local police, who ensured order and were met with cheers from the crowd.
