Traffic controllers were deployed to the intersection of Nemirovich-Danchenko and Sibiryakov-Gvardeytsev streets in Novosibirsk on June 12th to manage traffic flow. The initiative aims to ease congestion caused by ongoing road construction in the area, even on a holiday.

The GKU NSO TsODD reported the manual regulation is intended to relieve traffic in all directions at the complex intersection.

In addition to managing congestion, traffic controllers are also providing assistance to drivers whose vehicles have broken down.

Earlier the same day, residents of Novosibirsk experienced significant delays on Berdskoye Highway due to a disabled truck blocking the road. Eyewitnesses reported the truck broke down in the middle of the highway, exacerbating traffic problems.
