A man was seen igniting garbage in bins at 51A Krasina Street in Novosibirsk on Saturday, May 31st, at approximately 9:15 PM. The incident, captured on video by an NGS reader, raises concerns about public safety.

The motives of the individual, described as a pensioner, remain unknown. An eyewitness, identified as Vladimir, stated he was unsure why the man was setting fire to the garbage, but emphasized the socially dangerous nature of the act.

The eyewitness did not contact the fire department and is unaware of the final outcome. Authorities from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Novosibirsk region and the police are currently investigating the incident.

This follows a previous incident reported by NGS involving garbage containers being set on fire on Uritsky Street in Novosibirsk by an unknown person.
