A 27-year-old man was immediately apprehended after throwing a smoke bomb into a “Bank of St. Petersburg” branch located on 16 Oktyabrsky Boulevard in the Pushkin district of St. Petersburg on July 29th.

Police officers promptly arrived at the scene following the incident.

According to preliminary information, the man threw the smoke bomb in the direction of third parties.

The detainee has been taken to the police station where the issue of initiating a criminal case is currently being decided.

A set of operational investigative measures are being carried out.

No casualties were reported as a result of the incident.
