A 33-year-old man has been detained in the Kashira area of the Moscow region following a fatal altercation at a dacha, where he allegedly stabbed an acquaintance with a skewer. The incident occurred during what was intended to be a recreational outing at a dacha situated on the Oka River.

The dispute escalated, leading to the suspect allegedly inflicting a chest wound on the victim with the skewer.

Despite the suspect’s attempt to transport the injured man to a medical facility, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Medical professionals were unable to save him.

The Investigative Committee’s department for the Moscow region reported that investigators and forensic experts processed the scene, collecting pertinent evidence including the weapon. Witnesses were questioned, and a forensic medical examination has been ordered.

The suspect faces charges under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, pertaining to murder, which carries a potential sentence of up to 15 years in prison. The authorities are preparing to formally charge the accused and determine a suitable preventive measure.
