Long Weekend Weather Forecast for Russia

A significant shift in weather patterns is expected across Russia during the upcoming long weekend from June 12th to 15th. While some regions will experience cooler temperatures and rainfall, others will maintain summer-like conditions.

Central Russia will see a downturn in weather conditions. The sunny and warm weather will be replaced by prolonged rains and strong winds. Temperatures are expected to drop significantly, reaching only +15 … +18 degrees in Moscow, the Moscow region, and neighboring areas like Tula, Ryazan, Vladimir, Ivanovo, and Yaroslavl. Northerly winds with gusts of up to 15 meters per second are anticipated.

The Urals will also experience a change, transitioning from hot to cooler weather with short-term rains. Temperatures are expected to range from +21 … +26 degrees.

Siberia, on the other hand, will maintain summer weather. While short-term rains are possible, temperatures will remain around +25 … +30 degrees.

A slight cooling trend is predicted for the southern regions. The intense heat will subside, with temperatures dropping to +30 … +32 degrees, except in the Astrakhan region, where high temperatures will persist before gradually decreasing. Rains, thunderstorms, and hail are expected in the Astrakhan region by the weekend. Crimea, Kuban, Stavropol, the Volgograd region, and the republics of the North Caucasus will enjoy comfortable weather without precipitation, with temperatures around +25 … +28 degrees.

The Far East will experience low atmospheric pressure, leading to rains, heavy in some areas, with thunderstorms and wind gusts up to 13–18 m/s in Yakutia, Primorye, the Kuril Islands, and Kamchatka. Daytime air temperatures will be above the climatic norm in several regions, reaching +22 … +25 degrees on Sakhalin and +29 … +31 degrees in Yakutia and the Khabarovsk Territory.
