Novosibirsk experienced thunderstorms and lightning on June 11th around 2:30 PM, following a period of hot weather. The West Siberian Meteorological Center had issued warnings for possible thunderstorms and lightning in the region for the afternoon.

While Yandex.Weather predicts rain for the city later in the day, between 5:00 and 7:00 PM, forecasters expect no precipitation on June 12th.

The region is bracing for continued warmth, as temperatures in Siberia are expected to exceed the norm by 6–11 degrees, potentially reaching +35 degrees in the coming days.
