A massive fire engulfed a warehouse in Pushkino, Moscow Region, causing significant traffic disruptions and prompting a large-scale emergency response. The blaze, which broke out at a facility storing gas cylinders and pallets, has led to the complete shutdown of traffic on the Yaroslavl and Ivanteevka highways.
The fire has spread across an area exceeding 8,000 square meters. Currently, there have been no reported casualties.
Over 50 emergency personnel and 12 pieces of equipment are on site battling the flames. A specialized laboratory team is also present, conducting air quality tests to detect the presence of any hazardous chemicals.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Moscow Region has launched an investigation into the cause of the fire. Following the completion of the emergency response, law enforcement officials will examine the scene and conduct a thorough fire and technical examination.
Due to the road closures, bus routes 22, 40, 47, 316, and 451 are currently operating with adjusted schedules based on actual arrival times at bus stops.
