KVN Alumni Reunion Held in Yekaterinburg Featuring Mizulina, Pelsh, and Zapashny

The “KVN Alumni Reunion” took place at “Expo” in Yekaterinburg on Friday, June 20th, with appearances from prominent figures such as Ekaterina Mizulina, Valdis Pelsh, and Edgard Zapashny. E1.RU correspondents spoke with several of the game’s star judges, gathering insights into their perspectives on the event and the city itself.

Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the “League of Safe Internet,” addressed jokes about herself, stating she is accustomed to them and welcomes new ones. She also expressed her fondness for Yekaterinburg, noting its continuous growth and positive changes. Mizulina attended the event last year as well and has previously participated in local activities, such as painting over advertisements for drug stores alongside Ural activists.

Valdis Pelsh, the host of the game, expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Yekaterinburg to host future alumni reunions. He praised the audience, atmosphere, and acoustics of the venue, emphasizing the enjoyable experience of performing there.

Edgard Zapashny, a judge at the reunion, admitted to the difficulty he faced in judging the performances that evening. He expressed his admiration for KVN and his respect for Maslyakov and ultimately found it difficult to give a four rating to any team.
The teams “Four Tatars,” “Narts from Abkhazia,” and “MAI Team” performed at the alumni reunion.
