Vladislav Loginov, the mayor of Krasnoyarsk, has been detained on suspicion of accepting a large bribe and removed from the State Council. The Investigative Committee of Russia is handling the case, while local authorities are currently not commenting.
Loginov’s detention occurred this morning, June 9th, with law enforcement conducting searches in the city administration. Sources within law enforcement and the administration have confirmed the detention.
