Two kittens, Mimosa and T’mushka, are seeking new homes in Novosibirsk after being abandoned near a factory. Animal rights activists are working to find suitable owners for the pair.

The kittens, approximately 2.5 months old, were found in a box near the entrance of a factory in the Dzerzhinsky district. They were left close to the “First City Shelter,” though the individuals who abandoned them were apparently unaware of the shelter’s exact location.

Despite efforts to find them homes over the past two weeks, there has been a lack of interest in the kittens. The “First City Shelter” reports that the kittens have already been treated for parasites and vaccinated.

Prospective owners will be required to sterilize the kittens. The adoption will be formalized through a contract. The kittens are tortoiseshell in color and are already litter box trained.
