Investigation launched into the publication of scandalous video

An investigation has been launched by the Moscow Regional Investigative Committee following the release of a video depicting a woman allegedly mistreating her two-year-old son in Krasnogorsk. The video, circulated in a residential complex chat, shows a woman throwing a child into a stroller and striking him.

Despite the disturbing footage, the child’s father insists that his wife committed no crime. He claims the incident occurred after the boy ran into the street and nearly got hit by a car.

Initially, the police began investigating the incident and located the mother. However, according to the husband, his wife was not detained. An investigator reportedly questioned her and examined the child, confirming his well-being before leaving. The husband stated he would provide the investigator with a medical certificate confirming the child’s condition.

Residents of the residential complex paint a different picture of the event. One resident reported hearing the woman shouting profanities at the child before the physical altercation. The resident described the woman striking the child while he was standing, then throwing him into the stroller and hitting him in the face again. The resident stated that the child cried loudly as the woman continued to curse and insult him in the street.

The Investigative Committee’s involvement signals a more serious inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the video and the well-being of the child. This incident follows a previous case involving an 11-year-old boy who was beaten by his stepfather, highlighting ongoing concerns about child abuse in the region.
