Authorities in Novosibirsk are investigating the deaths of two men following a fire in a residential building in the Soviet district. The incident occurred on June 2nd in a two-apartment building.

During firefighting operations, the bodies of the homeowner and a guest were discovered. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Novosibirsk Region is conducting a pre-investigation check to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Investigators have ordered all necessary examinations to establish the causes of the fire and the subsequent deaths.

The fire resulted in the complete burnout of a room and kitchen within the apartment. Another room also sustained damage.

In a separate incident in April, a fire occurred in an apartment on 1905 Street in Novosibirsk, resulting in the death of one man.
