The investigation into the fatal beating of a cook in St. Petersburg’s Frunzensky district has concluded, and the case has been sent to court. The Prosecutor’s Office approved the indictment before submitting the materials.
The incident occurred on Bucharestskaya Street in April. A 30-year-old cook is accused of fatally injuring a colleague after a dispute over an “Iceberg” salad preparation.
The victim allegedly took the defendant’s salad while he was cooking, which led to an argument. The defendant, angered by this, asked the victim to step outside to talk.
Once outside, the defendant allegedly struck the victim multiple times with his hands and feet. These blows caused the victim to fall onto the asphalt.
The victim died as a result of the injuries sustained during the assault. The criminal case has now been transferred to the Frunzensky District Court for a trial.
