Over 2,000 scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, students, and investors are expected to attend EnergoTekhnoFest in Kronstadt on July 3rd, where dozens of representatives from innovation ecosystems and accelerators from the Middle East and CIS countries will gather to explore Russian energy developments. The open-air technology festival will showcase innovations in the energy sector.
The event, organized by EnergoTekhnoHub Petersburg, the Institute of Oil and Gas Technological Initiatives, and the Association “Digital Technologies in Industry,” aims to foster collaboration and innovation within the energy sector.
The festival’s program features an exhibition of industry innovations, thematic sessions, discussions, and lectures. Speakers will address topics such as scaling technologies, the applications of robots and quantum computers in energy, and strategies for introducing Russian technologies to international markets. Representatives from regional accelerators and successful entrepreneurs will also share insights on establishing partnerships in the Middle East and CIS countries.
Andrey Vlasov, leader of EnergoTekhnoHub Petersburg, emphasized the festival’s goal of showcasing innovation and bold initiatives in the energy sector, uniting academic science, applied science, technology developers, and their customers. He highlighted the opportunity for attendees to find potential investors, strategic partners, and engineering teams at EnergoTekhnoFest.
The festival will also feature the culmination of the EnergoTekhnoHub Petersburg Incubator, a support program for new technology entrepreneurs. Ten finalist startups, selected from over 100 teams from 35 Russian universities, will compete for a 1 million ruble prize for business development. Projects include digital modeling of equipment and processes for oil and gas production, petrochemistry, and additive manufacturing.
Last year’s EnergoTekhnoFest drew over 1,000 attendees, including representatives from 330 technology companies, who presented a range of innovations such as electric vehicle charging station management platforms, pipeline diagnostic robots, water purification devices, 3D modeling services, energy storage and transportation systems, and microfluidic chips for the oil and gas industry.
Participation in the festival is free, but registration is required.
