Increased Bus Frequency to St. Petersburg Cemeteries for Orthodox Holidays

St. Petersburg is increasing bus service to city cemeteries this weekend, June 7 and 8, due to the Orthodox holidays of Parents’ Saturday and Trinity. The Committee for Transport announced the changes on June 6.

Several routes will have increased frequency. A temporary express route, No. 2M, will operate between Moskovskaya Metro Station and Yuzhnoye Cemetery every 2-4 minutes. The first bus from the metro leaves at 8:00 AM, and the last bus departs from the cemetery at 5:00 PM. Route No. 147 from Moskovskaya Metro Station will run every 13-18 minutes, and bus No. 195 from Prospekt Veteranov Metro Station will run every 6-7 minutes.

Buses to Severnoye Cemetery will also see increased service. Bus No. 221, running from Pionerskaya and Komendantsky Prospekt Metro Stations, will operate every 15 minutes. Bus No. 398 from Pargolovo Railway Station will run every 3-4 minutes.

Other routes with adjusted schedules include bus No. 138 to the crematorium, running every 6-9 minutes, and bus No. 347 to Ilikovsky Cemetery, running every 22-24 minutes from Oranienbaum-1 station.

Additionally, bus No. 382 will run from Tsarskoye Selo Station to Kazanskoye Cemetery with varying frequencies throughout the day: every 22-30 minutes from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, every 15 minutes from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and every 30 minutes from 5:30 PM to 12:00 AM.

All other bus routes will maintain their regular schedules.
