A young couple in Ekaterinburg is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole their electric bicycle, potentially jeopardizing their upcoming wedding. The theft occurred on June 15th at 7:30 PM at 14A Tavatuyskaya Street.
The bicycle, equipped with an alarm and password, was taken despite these security measures. The couple, who are planning to get married in August, relies on the electric bicycle for income as the groom works part-time as a delivery courier to save money for their wedding.
The stolen bicycle, valued at 90,000 rubles, is still being paid off in installments. The couple now faces the possibility of financial strain instead of saving for their wedding.
Images captured from surveillance cameras show the suspect riding the bicycle away from the scene. Another image shows a person believed to be an associate of the suspect. The second image was recorded from an intercom at 17 Pekhotintsev Street.
The couple is offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of the bicycle and identification of the thief. Anyone with information is urged to contact them at 8 963 033-98-02.
