An unusual road obstruction, resembling a makeshift speed bump, has emerged on Voennaya Street in Novosibirsk, near the popular “Aura” shopping center. The obstacle, described as two wavy bulges in the middle of the road, was reported by eyewitnesses via the Telegram channel “AST-54 Black.”
The impromptu speed bump is believed to have formed from spilled cement, potentially dropped from a passing cement mixer. The cement then hardened, creating a noticeable road hazard.
Authorities are aware of the situation. An NGS correspondent contacted the Novosibirsk traffic police for an official statement, but at the time of reporting, no comment was available.
This incident follows a previous issue involving confusing road markings on Pisarev Street, where a newly installed zebra crossing caused disorientation among pedestrians. The traffic police requested modifications to those markings.
