A 54-year-old illegal migrant was detained in the Priozersky district of the Leningrad region after attempting to flee from police on a moped. The incident occurred on the “Solovyovka – Gromovo” road during a “Moto” preventative operation.

The foreigner, driving a “Storm” moped, was stopped by traffic police officers for a document check. It was discovered that the individual was in Russia illegally.

The migrant then attempted to escape on the moped, hitting one police officer and knocking down another. The police officers managed to stop the moped again.

Following the second stop, the violator tried to escape into the forest, but was apprehended. The individual was taken to the police station.

The detained migrant now faces administrative charges for violating migration laws and traffic regulations. Fortunately, the traffic police officers involved did not sustain serious injuries.
