A contracting company is flushing a heating main at the intersection of Nalichnaya Street, Uralskaya Street, and Korablestroiteley Street on Vasilyevsky Island. This process, which occurred yesterday evening, aims to remove deposits and dirt from the temporary network.

The press service of “Teploset” confirmed that the flushing is part of the ongoing reconstruction of intra-block networks in the area. The project, slated for completion in 2029, aims to improve the reliability of heat supply to 42 buildings.

While the flushing took place, a local resident expressed their frustration. They lamented the fact that hot water was flowing from the pipes while they lacked hot water at home.

The reconstruction project includes full restoration of the disturbed landscaping upon completion.
