A horse has been discovered abandoned and tied to a lawn in Vsevolozhsk, Leningrad Oblast, sparking concern among local residents. The animal was found without access to water or proper care.

The horse, secured to a peg near a highway, has reportedly been left unattended for several days. Eyewitnesses claim that the horse is frequently left in this location, supposedly for “grazing.” However, the animal currently lacks access to essential resources. Concerned residents are providing the horse with water, carrots, and apples.

The situation is further complicated by reports of passers-by mistreating the animal. According to a witness, a group of teenagers was observed throwing stones at the horse, attempting to make it rear up and kick for social media videos.

Despite repeated calls to emergency services, the police, and other relevant authorities, residents have been told that the issue falls “outside their area of responsibility.”

There are increasing worries that the horse could pose a danger if it were to break free. Eyewitnesses fear that the animal might run onto the highway or potentially injure individuals.
